Loose Road Allotments are split over two enclosed sites nestled between Mayfair Avenue, South Park and Hazlitt Place.

Plots range in size from 3 rods (75.88sqm) to 11 rods (278.22sqm); the soil is light to medium loam.

Both sites have mains water supply with storage tanks and vehicle access with parking areas.

At least one plot has slow worms – a natural pest control.

There is an allotment shop selling many items including fertilizers, manures and composts.
